Mission Statement: Pioneer Credit Union is committed to the delivery of total member understanding and satisfaction in everything we do. This is accomplished through a balance of sound and responsible operations, focus on employee satisfaction and development, and actively striving to serve the needs of our membership.
Pioneer's first organizational meeting was called to order on October 22, 1927. At this time, the credit union was the first in the Green Bay area and sixth in the state of Wisconsin. We serve nine counties in Wisconsin: Brown, Door, Kewaunee, Shawano, Manitowoc, Oconto, Outagamie, Marinette, and Calumet. Today, we have over 51,724 members and $444.9 million in assets.
Over the years, many credit unions have merged with Pioneer to form one strong financial institution. Hudson Sharp was the first in 1982, followed by NTCO, Pauly Cheese, Armour, Northwest, Door County Community, United Methodist, Bay West, Chicago & Northwestern, Wisconsin Veterans Home, Fox Point Credit Union, C/R Credit Union, St. Mary's Credit Union, and Supervalu Credit Unions. We recognize that our members are the only reason for our existence as an organization; and we strive to provide them with a standard of excellence that includes uncompromising, personalized service.
